Hidden Gems: Uncovering Underrated Bands in the Britpop Era

There were other Britpop bands besides big names, such as Pulp, Blur, Oasis, and Suede, which were arguably underrated. Although they were not as well-known as the Big Four, these bands have created good music that should have gotten more attention in the Britpop era. The Boo Radleys The Boo Radleys was formed in Wallasey in 1988 with Simon Sice Rowbottom as the frontman. The band became known in the Britpop scene after releasing the single Wake Up Boo! , which reached number 9 in the Top 10 UK Singles Chart in 1995, four years before they disbanded. Over the years of their career, they have made six studio albums, with their fourth Wake Up! being the most successful among others. The other albums, such as Giant Steps (1993) and C'mon Kids (1996), were also some of their fine works that reached the Top 20 Albums Chart in the UK in the 90s.
